@joergsattler You're right. Every voice is unique. There will not be anyone like me in a very, very long time (if ever). It's your opinion that Pavarotti was the best tenor of all time. Not everyone else's.

His c's are a bit bright and closed - 2nd best, above Gedda and Kraus but below Florez in my opinion. Florez's high c's are uncontested.

I love Kaufmann's voice, he's my favorite spinto tenor to listen to. But why do all tenors that sing verismo think it necessary to add so much portamento? It's almost like they grace note/ slide up to each note.
