We are local, but local in about 5 states, in other words, we cover aspects of the local scene of each of the states in which were sold. For 2009, we will be adding NYC, DC, & NC to the list.

We have launched our updated website which features new turn-page digital technology, driving up the views of our website nationally, and resulting in more views of your advertising message.

The world of HipHop has changed a lot in the last several years. There was a time when artists and models had to be discovered before they could find success. Nowadays, we have independent artists and models, independent labels, independent managers, producers, etc., etc., etc. Many of these future millionaires have been utilizing inBox Magazine to put the word out about their artists and models since our inception back in 2001. Weve earned the use of our slogan: inBox Magazine... the pure truth in Hip Hop & R&B.

With super-large national publications going out of business left and right, inBox has steadfastly continued to grow as one of the Midwests best publications. We are local, but local in about 5 states, in other words, we cover aspects of the local scene of each of the states in which were sold. For 2009, we will be adding NYC, DC, & NC to the list.

inBox Magazine features artists such as Nelly, Will Smith, Chingy, Lil Jon, Crime Mobb, Too $hort, Murphy Lee, David Banner, KRS1 and more. Our Dvd delivers those and other mega-stars like Lil Wayne, Keyshia Cole, and more to the living rooms or our viewers. All while featuring independent up-n-coming artists and models right alongside the big celebs.

On the editorial side, our columnists bring potent social commentary and perspectives on life that inspire readers to think twice. And just to keep it hot and fresh, our writers bring dramatic, provocative storytelling to our readers, ala Terri McMillan, Eric Jerome Dickey, and Zane. This was purposely created for our female reader, the person who is often thought of second in hip hop. We want to embrace her. She will also appreciate our model fashion spreads.

With our finger on the pulse of the HipHop community, we felt the power of multi-media. So we unleashed our Dvd and Mixtape. The inBox Dvd delivers a well-paced, visual and sonic smorgasbord of entertainment. It mirrors the magazine and also steps out on its own. The viewer is guided by our Dvd personalities (hosts) and graphical cues to keep him or her glued to the set. As you may know, the Mixtape is the cornerstone of Underground HipHop Culture. So of course, the inBox Mixtape continues this tradition, as our veteran DJs blend and scratch hot new tracks from national and local artists, into a mesmerizing mix of music, drops, and short skits from the artists themselves.

With all three mediums, inBox provides entertainment, beautiful people, and a dose of plain old chicken soup substance with every issue. inBox offers three components no one else does: Magazine, Mixtape and Dvd. You get to read about the artist, then you can see the artist come to life (swagga, charisma), then you can hear the artist.

For 2009 we will be launching our updated website which will feature new turn-page digital technology, an interactive way to capture the attention of internet users, allowing them to experience inBox Magazine free of charge in an internet-friendly way... driving up the views of our website nationally, and resulting in more views of your advertising message.

All in all, inBox Magazine, Dvd, and Mix CD, puts our brand in virtually every place people can be, on the coffee table, on their TVs and in their cars, and each medium is produced as elegantly as the other.
