We started off as an entrepreneurial venture in 2001 and set out to redefine Pakistan's computing industry with the first local computer brand -- the Inbox PC. Inbox PC bridged the gap between the branded and the unbranded PC segment, bringing the customers economical, top-quality desktops.

Although the name Inbox is still synonymous with affordable and reliable desktops, Inbox Business Technologies has come a long way since its startup days.

Inbox is now bigger, better and bolder.

In 2004, The Dawood Group acquired stakes in Inbox Business Technologies, giving it the financial leverage to truly evolve into an organization that can play a dominant role in the local IT industry. From fifteen, Inbox Business Technologies has grown to three hundred strong people company. In 2005 we took the road less taken and set up our own assembling plant for laptops and desktops at Mauripur Industrial Area, Karachi. Today, this plant employs eighty plus people and has the capacity to assemble 8,500 units a month.

In 2005 Inbox went for an acquisition strategy in order to strengthen its custom-application development offerings to its customers. We acquired ThreeSixtyDegreez - a reputable software house in order to diversify our portfolio and take another step towards becoming a truly end-to-end technology solutions company.

While most local IT companies opted to pursue foreign markets; we focused our energies right here at home. We built our strength in serving enterprise customers and set up an elaborate nationwide sales and services network to provide extensive support even at the most remote locations in Pakistan.
