Hi Carson. Nice to hear from you again! Beautiful description of the tone of my featured track by John Zorn. You mention that you're a fan of 'The Ivory's'. Do you mean the west-african band or something else? I love Mozarts music too, just like Bach, mainly the smaller chamber-orchestra pieces, when I really need something calming and healing. But in general I love to discover new signs of reflection and mysticism in music, always curious to hear things I never heard before, and there's still so much to be discovered... It's great to have all this music around on the internet!

I understand what you say about not wanting to look back too much in the past because of negative emotions taking the lead then. But I chose not to censor emotions or energies myself, but to consider them as serious signals for my own liberation and work my way through them. Have to admit that that has been quite a struggle at times, both with myself and with my surroundings, almost like fighting with a dragon, but it formed me and my surroundings too. But I had the benefit of a surrounding that could cope with a 'fight' in a good way.

In a way I believe that we do have influence on our own transformation and that of others. I think people transform by divine moments of grace and by love and friendship, but also by darkness, crises, conflicts and all kinds of encounters and experiences. I think that we transform all the time. We also transform by reading and meeting wisdom. Great quote by Hendrix indeed! I recognize some of that too. Sometimes you get an insight that can just lift you up out of the room where you locked yourself into earlier on, that's the kind of freedom we need.

About taming tendencies...lol... I think it's always good to remain in control of your own tendencies, and when you're losing too much energy in a way that it bothers you it's good to shift attention and activity to other energy regions ;)). Again I think that our tendencies and dreams contain a lot of information and messages too about our own search and development, but you have to be able and willing to dig a layer deeper in order to find the leads there. Life does not always offer us the opportunity and time to do that.

Nice to hear that you visit the Unity Church every week. I know how visiting community gatherings can be inspiring and healing (I experience that now and then in the Sufi-movement) and this Unity Church sounds like a very openminded and positive kind of Christianity. I don't think that it's rooted in The Netherlands. I'm not opposed to religious institutions perse, but I do see a lot of religious ideals getting derailed when a system of power gets around them. I'm definitely opposed to religious intolerance, but I don't see any of that on their website. So they come through my first severe glance... although I tend to remain suspicious towards new religious initiatives until I know all about their daily practice and finances... That's only wise in my view, when you know something about the way of the world:)

Thanks again for your profound comments. They're not visible on my channel anymore because of my regular need for 'a clear canvas', but your comments are precious to me, so I store them. I hope you remember them yourself, I'll partly remind you in my response to make sure that you know what I'm talking about :)

I was very glad that you understood my appreciation for Saul Williams. I understand what you said about him and Jimi Hendrix, the similarities and differences. In my view they both have the (shamanistic) power to work as an intermediair and break the sky open. That could be entitled as 'dragon force', with both the positive and the negative aspects that may come along with it ;). They surely have different histories and a different kind of sky to break through, but I value them both a lot.

Thank you very much too for 'relapsing' part of your personal history. I already guessed the global picture, but didn't know the details of course. You must have had many lonely times in your youth, I'm sorry to hear that. Obviously your experiences strengthened you too. I understand what you mean when you talk about your mothers 'school of thought or upbringing'. People did and still do a lot of damage to the soul of children because of certain methods for upbringing, instead of listening, caring and loving, like we are programmed to do naturally. Sometimes they seem to have become almost extinct qualities in our society.
