Today's ingredients Rice .. 150g Kanikama .. some Salt .. some Nori .. somemeat Kanikama : imitation crab meat, made from fish paste, shaped and colored like a crab.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to make snowman riceball. This is simple and easy to make DECO-BENTO. Also, you can make snowman with sushi-rice which means rice with vinegar.
There's still a lot of snow here in Hokkaido. Have fun in the kitchen :)
Music by Jun Takahashi (my friend) http://jtcs-soft.... Kevin McLeod http://incompetec...
********************************************************** こちら北海道では雪と格闘しています。 今日は、そんな雪をちょっとかわいくお弁当に "雪だるま"としていれてみました。
簡単なデコ弁なので、是非、おうちでも作ってみてください

The Cim Fam EP is #6 on the iTunes Pop Chart! Wow!!! PURCHASE HERE: http://itunes.app...
For our 100th video, we wanted to do something that we've gotten a ton of requests for. Lots of people have been asking us to do "It Will Rain" or something by Adele, and as it turned out, they mashed up really well! And because it's become so popular, we made sure Dani did a great big yawn right in the middle of it. :) We hope you enjoy our arrangement! Please check out our CimFam EP, available everywhere Dec 6th. In some places, it's already available for pre-order on iTunes. Woohoo!!

Thanks for watching!!! :D
PS Regarding pre-recorded videos vs live videos, what you're hearing is not autotune, it's reverb, echo, compression, and EQ. We record with a Neumann mic on Logic Pro in our house. When we do live videos, we use a Canon Vixia, and the little mic on that is what picks up our voices. That little mic sounds nothing like it would if you were actually in our living room when we record -- it can't pick up the full dynamic range, and everything is always out of balance because someone is always closer to or farther from the mic. Our piano never sounds right either -- in real life it sounds warm and rich, on the camera mic it sounds like a small piano that's been beat to death for years.
When we record one person at a time on a high quality mic, we can capture the full resonance of each voice. We add in a touch of reverb and echo to make it sound like it's in our living room (without it, it would sound very dry, because you always record in a "dead" room). Then we EQ each voice, where we adjust the way the highs, mids and lows in each voice were picked up by the mic to try to make them sound as accurate as possible. We're still learning EQing, but our goal is to give you the closest possible sound to actually sitting in the room with us, which is nothing like what the camera mic gives you.
Autotune is a pitch correction program (that we don't own, btw) that makes a really cool "T-Pain" effect, and you can hear the pitch correction setting on Logic on our cover of "Best Love Song", where we tried to copy his Autotune effect. There are about 1000 other effects on Logic, too, and we sometimes play with those because they're really fun!
Every producer we've worked with uses pitch correction to some degree just to tighten things up. We've heard some horror stories about singers whose voices need "open heart surgery" with the pitch correction and effects. The real issue is can the singer or group sing artistically and in tune without it? For those who can't, live performances must be terrifying.
In general, what you are hearing is our effort to give you the very best quality sound that we can, something that sounds much closer to the way it would sound if you were right in the middle of our living room with the high ceiling, next to the piano, hearing all the harmonies bouncing off the walls all around you and enveloping you in a rich sound. Other times we play with various effects to get different types of sounds. We're still experimenting and learning, and we fully admit that we have a long way to go as producers! We hope you enjoy our efforts! Thanks for watching. :)
