It's funny how most of it looks very good but the human characters look absolutely terrible in almost every conceivable way.

This is exactly what it's like working in the games industry.

Also, as a Level Designer I was using x, y, z co-ordinates all the time to place characters and nodes and stuff.

Trust me, it's not great for about 99% of the people who work in the industry.

How the hell do you do something like this on a budget of $0?

Your "personal expense" must have been thousands, if not tens of thousands, surely...

Well if that's true then it's ok.

I just like that the original The Hobbit was a nice self contained story with a clear beginning, middle and end.

I just hope that's how the movie turns out rather than possibly leaving it on a cliffhanger or something so we have to go watch the...

The game with the most original idea, best execution so far, best graphics, most potential to develop into an actual cool title, didn't make it through.

I designed a better ship rising game than that one that got through in a couple of minutes. Not saying I'd be able to ...

Artistically and visually it looks really nice but there's a strange fish-eye/warping effect and distortion whenever the character turns that I don't like. It kind of gives me a bit of motion sickness.

Very cool.

Make the player ship a little more attractive. Make the player bullets a little simpler looking so it's easy to see them firing off into the distance like a regular cannon or whatever.

And keep going...

Oh how I wish they'd make a new Star Fox game just like the original but with no pop-in and a steady 60fps.

With a smooth 60fps, really clean sharp visuals, but still with the same basic flat-shaded style as the original (or more like Galaxian 3 quality level), and near infinite draw distance it...

The dragons just look kinda wrong.

Sort of half-breeds with humans or something, with those long arms. :o

Other than that it looks ok for what it is but I don't think I'd bother.

I mean it looks like they are waiting for him to pretty much put his hands on their chest, so did he say it was a magic trick or something?

It's just an elongated promotional advert that's mostly aimed at keeping the casuals informed and up to date.

Sh**! This game is twisted!

The Molotov needs to have some realtime lighting applied.

It looks wrong when you light it and the bottle doesn't light up, or when you throw it and nothing around the flame lights up.

The HUDs in modern games are sooo bad.

They spend millions of pounds creating these beautiful visuals and then ruin it by sticking these crappy ugly HUDs over them.

I liked the old simpler visual style better to be honest.

The one thing this game would really benefit from is...a higher resolution.

Where did all the color go in the latest Counter Strike.

I guess this is the more "realistic" look most mindless drones think makes games look better.

Put some ******* color back in for God's sake!

Why do these games always have so much HUD crap?

I'd love to play one of these games where the screen is actually clear of all that clutter.

It looks good but I think the delay between pressing a button or pushing the stick and the action happening on-screen is still a bit too big.

I wish the aiming wasn't so bad.

It looks soooooooo slow and clumsy.

I don't understand why Capcom's designers can't put in decent aiming controls.

It's a times like this you realize how annoying it is when you can't skip cut-scenes!

Super Mario Bros/Dunck Hunt, Super Mario World/F-Zero, Super Mario 64, Ridge Racer/Wipeout, Halo...

World class launch games on each of those systems that have gone on to be all-time classics.

We need that kind of support at launch again. Even if it's just one absolute killer app.

It's looking a bit glitchy with gestures messing up quite often.

When he does it on the board he actually bangs it down, which is what I believe is the trigger mechanism for firing the real/fake nails. When he does it on his hand or wherever else he simply rests it softly against them and pulls the trigger. Or that's how it appears at least.

Watching it there it comes across a bit like the old Dragon's Lair games where you had to respond to on-screen prompts.

Why the **** should I have to pay to record calls onto my ******* phone!

I'm already paying for the damn call time and I've already paid for the damn memory in my ******* phone where I'm going to store the recording!

Stuff like this really piss...
