How do you like your JM sig. strat Mike? I picked one up last year and it's absolutely stunning for Mayer/SRV/Hendricks style blues. Pretty limited on other genres but it does one type extremely well. Good lesson man

$1200 is crazy money for a guitar that needs a complete overhaul. Easy decision though, you spend the $400 and get it done. It's a beautiful instrument overall.

Thats definitely a JM sig. strat not a SRV. Pretty much the same except the pickups are modified Texas Specials-Fender calls them Big Dippers. And the neck is slightly different.

Awesome tone dude, sounds real nice. It's really all in having a tube amp with proper pedal. Any fender amp(Deluxe, Princeton, Super Reverb, etc) with a tubescreamer (T9 or even better TS808) sounds amazing. JM has played a lot of gigs with that combo before he went to the crazy expensive T...
