US Legal Immigration Fiasco

The Department of State (DOS) made the priority dates current for clearing the path towards US Citizenship for well qualified, deserving legal (not typo) immigrants. However, the USCIS approved approximately 60k cases in 2 weeks (Previously it approved 60k cases in 6 months) to pull the plug on the 2nd of July, 2007.
