Can you tell us how? Looks like Panther, VLC and mobile youtube? If you can download the file you could also use mplayer from command line. If you get an extracted binary of mplayer you can open it in a terminal, drop the file on it and it will stream. I know a guy with a Pismo who does that.

I would say at this point stay OS X if you need things like imovie and final cut. There are linux equivalents, but they aren't as user friendly. Mintppc is an awesome project, but probably not what you need.

@talabanAK47 you need the very latest version. You should be able to download. You need Perian to play flv files in quicktime. Another option is youview, but you have to PAY to enable downloading, which is lame.
