About Me:

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) works to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world. The IMF is governed by and accountable to the 187 governments of the countries that make up its near global membership.

The IMF supports its membership by providing:

Policy advice to governments and central banks based on analysis of economic trends and cross-country experiences;

Research, statistics, forecasts, and analysis based on tracking of global, regional, and individual economies and markets;

Loans to help countries overcome economic difficulties;

Concessional loans to help fight poverty in developing countries; and

Technical assistance and training to help countries improve the management of their economies.
Country:
United States

The bank officials who are lending money belonging to other people should guarantee that the money they lent will be paid. The politicians, on the other hand, who are borrowing money from bankers should guarantee personally that they are able to pay the loan from taxes collected from those citizens who are able to share their income earned from their privileged positions.

I firmly believe that the only kind of global economic system that can work is one which values the well-being of all living things; and is based on the intrinsic worth of people, rather than being based on goods and services which only have worth because of how they affect peoples lives.
The perfect models for a peaceful, global economic system are the monastic models which we have received from Buddhism in the east and from Christianity in the west. These economic systems have worked well for millennia.

When are we going to get one world currency? This is getting tiring. We need a single world government with the IMF and the world bank controlling the money. Individual nations have proved too irresponsible. Time to step in IMF!
