１１日午後２時４６分、三陸沖を震源とするマグニチュード（Ｍ）<wbr>７．９の地震が起き、宮城県北部で震度７を観測した。同３時１５<wbr>分にもＭ７．４の余震があり、茨城県南部などで震度６弱を観測<wbr>した。気象庁は北海道から関東地方までの太平洋岸に大津波警報を<wbr>発令。仙台新港に高さ１０メートルの津波が到来したほか、同３時<wbr>５０分に福島県相馬市で同７．３メートル、同２１分には岩手県<wbr>釜石市で同４．１メートルの津波を確認した。
岩手、宮城、福島、茨城各県によると、岩手県釜石市、宮古市、山<wbr>田町や宮城県の沿岸部を津波が襲い、家屋が流されている。宮城県<wbr>では東北自動車道が多数箇所で損壊、同県柴田町では民家が倒壊<wbr>。茨城県高萩市では屋根が崩落し１人死亡した。
警察庁によると、釜石市内では、橋が崩落。釜石港付近では、津波<wbr>で車約２０台が巻き込まれたとの情報があるという。
東京消防庁によると、千代田区の九段会館では天井が落下、２５人<wbr>の負傷者が出ているほか、東京・お台場や池袋など１０カ所で火災<wbr>が起きている。
東銀座にある時事通信ビルも地震で大きく揺れ、編集デスクの上の<wbr>資料などが相次いで落下。内部の壁にひびが入るなどした。

With this video lecture series, you will study the basics of your Aqeedah with Shaikh (Dr.) Abdullah al-Farsi, who has studied many books under senior students from the Islamic University of Madeenah, and has been encouraged by them to teach the books of Aqeedah in English. Amongst the major scholars who know him are Shaikh Saaleh aal-Shaikh and Shaikh Saleh ibn al-Fawzan. He was known to Shaikh Ibn Baaz (rahimahullah) and has an honorary tazkeeyah (recommendation) from Shaikh Badiuddin Shah Sindhi (rahimahullah).
Shaikh (Dr.) Abdullah al-Farsi has been active in the field of dawah since 1980, mostly in America and Europe, and he has taught many Aqeedah books in Kuwait. He has an extensive personal research on books of Tafseer, explanations of Hadith and the writings of Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah).

Islam means submission to God. Islam is the belief that there is only One God, whose proper name is Allah, which means the God. Islam is the same message given to all the prophets, from Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Jesus, and finally to the Prophet Muhammad, the last messenger (peace and blessings be upon them). They all brought the same message: worship only God, and stop worshipping human beings and their ideas.
Allah is the name of God in arabic, arab christians use the word Allah.

If you believe there is only One God who should be worshipped, and no one/nothing else has that right but Him, and you believe Muahmmad, peace be upon him, was a messenger who brought the same message as all the prophets before him, then you are basically a Muslim.
