About this user

Danielrobertmiller grew up in Queensland listening to pop radio and picked up the guitar after discovering rock music, specifically the work of Steve Vai. Within two years of first learning how to play, he was a notable performer at various local bars, and at 19, he enrolled at the Trinity College Of Music. However, Danielrobertmiller soon realized he would rather perform music than study it, and would rather focus on serious songwriting than on virtuoso guitar playing. So in 2005, he returned to his hometown of Rockhampton and became a regular in the Cover clubs circuit, playing continuous gigs at nightspots like O'dowds Irish Bar, The Heritage Tavern and The Criterion Hotel.

"Playing cover songs really gave me a greater appreciation for different genres".

After playing the covers circuit for what seemed an eternity, Danielrobertmiller thought it was time to start getting creative and started writing songs.
After a month of writing and recording, Danielrobertmiller's first self-titled E.P. "Monsters" was born -recorded with a full electric band, an eclectic mix of rock, pop and metal, each song is threaded with an impeccable pop sensibility. Maintaining an honesty and sincerity to his craft,
Released on his own independent label D.n.L Records in 2005, Danielrobertmiller received modest airplay on both commercial and community stations and performed at festivals that included an array of local magnates.

The Single "Breath Of Heaven" was chosen to represent the Whitsunday Islands tourism industry advertisement campaign, in 2005,

2006-07 saw a year of extensive touring the club circuit, traveling interstate opening for acts like British India, Rose Tattoo, Melodyssey, The Butterfly Effect, Dead Letter Circus, and Epidemic....Over, performing to appreciative audiences night after night,
