Huh. Ive had a JD blower for over 20 years. Replaced the ORRIGINAL belts just this year. The blower itself works great, its that POS briggs and scrap iron engine i hate. But then again, it is 20 years old, perhaps its got an excuse.

Dude, I agree with you. Nothing like building an entire sled, and then the feeling you get when you're out riding it. I'll be the first to admit, my sled aint the fastest out there...but who cares? I like how it runs and handles, and isn't that what matters to those of us who act...

Hey, thats almost the identical engine to what I run, except mine is just shy of 850, ported and polished by PSI with custom PSI pipes and heads. Its a damn good combination, my fathers 1200 genesis engine doesn't outrun me by much!

400 HP and 800 TQ is attainable with nothing but programming. 500 HP is possible with some minor bolt ons and programming. add to that a bigger turbo, increased displacement injection pump, larger injector nozzles, and aftermarket connecting rods, and you have a recipe for over 800...
