r u in qld cause its different for every state but no i havent had it engineered u cant do that in qld to my knowledge the last time i looked into it the biggest lift u where allowed was a 4inch comprising of 2 inch suspension and 2 inch body

awww yeah, that sounds alright, yeah i get hung up heaps and ive got 31 inch muddies :| did you have to get your car all engineered? im looking at a rancho 2 inch lift.

mate i got about 3 inches of lift and 35s i used to run 33s and found i got hung up on the ubolts a fair bit now that i run 35s i never get hung up on the ubolts

hey mate, nice cruiser, i was just wondering how high is your lift and tyres? i wanna lift my 2 inch with 33's to stay legal so i dont have to get in engineered but im wondering is it high enough?

well i did it at my mates shop but with the right bending tools its easy. just used a y [piece and split it into two just below the tray had a bracket to that point and then comes out to the outer edges of the head board to another bracket then the rest holds itself up. the heat sheiled just has a bolt welded to the piepe aat the top and bottom where self lock nuts hold them on. and thats about it pretty easy if u got the room behind the tray other wise u might have to redo the mounts on ur tray.
