CIAO FROM IL TULIPANO

I'm a double bass player from the Netherlands.
I studied jazz bass at the Groningen conservatory, but left to finish my degrees in psychology and law at the universities of Groningen and Amsterdam, only to become a full-time musician 10 years later!

I am active in different musical fields: jazz, classical and baroque music, contemporary music, world music, music for films and theatre. I'm a member of the multidisciplinary artists' collective and record label Improvvisatore Involontario from Catania (Italy) and the official dutch-sicilian assistent of the most famous unknown artist Suisse-Marocain from Paris (next project: underwater art exposition and music!)

Marko Bonarius wears exclusively Le Suisse-Marocain ties and Dos Mujeres tango shoes :-)
