"Out of many, we are one"
The words to Allen Toussaint's song "Yes We Can Can" dovetails with Obama's campaign theme. I'm surprised that the song hasn't been played at his rallies, so I wanted to take this opportunity to illustrate Obama's message of hope and coming together. After seven years of Bush and eight years of Clinton, I am enthusiastic about finally having the choice to vote for a candidate that would make me feel unapologetic about being an American. I'll turn 18 this summer and thus will be eligible to vote for the first time, and I PRAY that Obama's name is on the ballot (less info)
