I feel like all his songs have a great quality in them, then he just throws some random parts in there to say "hey, look what I can do" and they just detract from what could be good music.

Steve Vai is a unique character. He has the personality of a complete nerd(a leather dress, complete disdain for anything too mainstream, lame jokes), and he became a rock star purely from his playing ability. I like what he did on this cover though(his commentary aside)
