In the early 80's, nothing said "summertime" like the latest record from the Go-Go's. Ahhh beaches, boardwalks, and bonfires! Most of the gals look fresh-faced here, so I'm guessing they hadn't hit rock bottom yet. Too bad they flamed out so early...

Never saw this before! They look energized here, a full 6 months after the release of Talk Show, but before their non-stop touring (once again) took its toll. Nice to see that the Go-Go's still had some spark left in them in the Summer of '84.

It certainly is a big performance, with a powerhouse vocal, but it doesn't really stir any emotion in me. It feels kinda hammy, and bellicose.
