1987 St. Louis Cardinals down vs. Tampa Bay 28-3 end of third quarter, came back to win 31-28. I realize it was a poorly attended game in their lame duck season before moving, but a comeback is a comeback.

@jrsjr81 Agreed. I found it rather irritating that the 2011 Cardinals kept being compared with 1964. In 1964, they won the PENNANT on the last day of the season. In 2011, they won the best record of a non first place team on the last day of the season. Not quite the same.

As many others have mentioned, he was risky because of his knee. Exciting player, but his career could be over with one more injury. Also, he made several costly drops in the last game, so he is not Superman. Every year undrafted guys make an impact somewhere. Drafting is an imperfect science...

There were about 5 games that were there for the taking. This play just happened to be the last one. Now that they will have a tougher schedule this year (if we have a season), they could be a better team, and still have a worse record. Spags is a good guy, but too many calls in too many games ...
