	oldlampsfornew (1 year ago) Alan, the two actuel lp's that you led were my first forays into free/out music. Its funny I bought a copy of Luna Surface without even listening to it. I thought the lp art looked cool. I initially it (and seasons) to be very challenging to sit through, and subsequently relegated them to my bookshelf. But the ideas you put forth piqued my interest, so I slowly searched out more and more avante garde music. Now a few years later they are two of my absolute favorite albums. I particularly like side 6 of Seasons. The music you created really changed my perception of what music is (I was coming from a typical rock music background). So I guess thanks?

I recently acquired the duets album with William Parker and the 4 CDs of H.Con.Res.57 on the Eremite label. Such fantastic music! I'd love to hear the "Luna Surface" and "Seasons" discs but they're soooo hard to find! Anyway, peace, love and much respect Mr. Silva.
