This School of was established in 2007. It aims at providing quality education in the areas of social work, family studies and tribal studies and offering programmes leading to the award of Certificate, Diploma and Degree.
The objectives of the School are:
• To develop and launch high quality programmes of study in Social Work, Family Studies and issues related to Scheduled Tribes at various levels: undergraduate / Post Graduate / M.Phil. / Ph.D.
• To develop culture specific courses and programmes to address social problems such as, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, suicides, problems and challenges faced by adolescents, youth, the girl child, differently abled and other vulnerable sections in the society.
• To undertake research and extension programmes by, adopting right based and gender specific approach.
