With the rapid development in Information and Communication Technology, Journalism and New Media are emerging as powerful tools of communication (information and knowledge) to reach large sections of the society. Accordingly, the University has established the School of Journalism and New Media Studies in 2007. This school aims at offering specialized research programmes in the areas of Journalism and Communication; Electronic and online Media; Media, Cultural and Demographic Studies; and Media Management.

It's a wonderful material. IGNOU, though should focus more on the technical way of presenting such fantastic information, especially the positioning and the camera angle of the expert.
