I think this speech was longer in the original version, i.e. the first time this episode was shown. The syndicated versions have cut the speech down a bit for time. I could be wrong..

the auto pilot kicks in at the last second, it reduces your speed and thats why u cant collide. I often have the same problem. It is still possible to hit them however. You have to wait until they are flying towards you, then fly towards them at the same time, always changing your direction sligh...

This is a great game, but you do not know how to play it. I had this game growing up. You can do battle against war birds and other ships, you can lead away teams made up of multiple ship characters, including all the senior staff. Please learn how to play it before you trash it.
