Irv Johnson is a music composer for television and film. He began his education at the Dalcroze School of Music in Manhattan. There he learned classical violin, classical piano and music theory. He went on to major in music at Hiram College in Ohio.

In 2000 he co-founded Chameleon SounDesign, LLC. CSD has been responsible for the music in many advertisements, campaigns, promos and shows for various clients in television and film.

Recently, Irv completed the score for the feature film, "Dissonance". To date, "Dissonance" has won five awards at different festivals including "Best Director" award at the Queens International Film Festival and "Best Feature" award at the Hollywood Film Festival. In a review by Monika DeLeeuw-Taylor of Micro Filmmaker Magazine she wrote: "...The composer (of Dissonance) should be lauded for his impressive work.".

Irv scores modern symphonic music and write in current pop, rock, r & b and electronica music styles.

In addition to his composition duties he has signed on as an adviser to Pavaline Studios where he will blog, advise and conduct webinars for up and coming film makers and composers.
