I saw Berlin Philharmonic perform the new version by the "group" yesterday..If Bruckner was looking down, I beleve he would of been very happy with Simon Rattle and his orchestra. As for this performance? I am afraid very poor "Oberliga" standard.

9Bruckner- We are going to Berlin next week to hear the "groups" latest completion of the ninth. An extended new coda has been composed climaxing, in the opening of the adagio being played by the trumpets in a blazing D Major. Something like Bruckner intended.
