The Idiots are Benjamin Wilson, James Wrighton, Elliott Tiney and Andrew Spiers. After forming in 2007 they have gone on to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival with John Cleese and sell out three Edinburgh Festival runs. In 2009 they were nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for their show This is war.
Their unique blend of fast-paced sketch comedy has invigorated the genre and they've attracted a large following both live and online.
The Ants TV work includes a pilot on E4 and appearances on BBC Ones Comic Relief and BBC Threes The Wall. In the USA they have had sketches played on Fox News, The Rachael Ray Show and The Today Show.
Their Facebook sketch, 'Facebloke in real life', has become an 'internet phenomenon' (BBC Online) with over 3 million YouTube views.
