When I was little I was very interested in pokemon, but I didn't know what shiny pokemon was. I got my first starter (bulbasaur) and headed off on the first route. When I got there the third pokemon that showed up was a shiny pidgey. I ran away because I didn't have pokeballs, plus Ididn't find anything significant about it.
So I went on in my journey, and in the same game I met a blue gastly. I caught the sparkles, but still didn't understand what this was, but this I caught it and evolved it into haunter.
I started to find out about shiny pokemon, but it was too late...I already started a new save.
Later in that save though, I caught mewtwo with alot of pokeballs left. I decided to swim around the area for a while for no apparent reason. Eventually I realized that I was actually wasting alot of time and so I was about to stop when the next pokemon I met was a slowpoke, but it came off as a little bit faded, and then..."ding...ding." the stars rang bright around this beautiful shiny, and for the first time I screamed "shiny...shiny...shiny slowpoke!"
Since then I've been searching and have added more shinies to my beautiful collection!
