Iconique Music Group looks for business opportunities in new media and the entertainment Industry, with a focus on innovative technologies. We seek out innovative and robust new media solutions globally for the music 2.0, film and television realm, creating revenue streams through business development. We also solicit the sale and acquisition of music publishing catalogs of merit, and also look for creative opportunities to brand artists and music publishing catalogs in the film, television and advertising worlds.
Including the overall A&R/creative direction, marketing and brand integration aspects of the music business, Iconique Music Group represents artists in all genres for the solicitation of recording contract opportunities, for major label and indie artists alike. Iconique Music Group clients include Incognito, Nailah Porter, The Bolts, Justyna Kelley, Pete Belasco, Anna Thomas, Loston Harris, and Sasha Dobson. Iconique Music Group also represents technology companies Art & Logic, iEveryware and Phoam Technologies.
Iconique Music Group President, Guy Eckstine, is the former SVP/Creative Development, MP3.com, VP A&R, Verve Records, Director A&R, Columbia Records, and Creative Manager, Virgin Music In America. His record productions have won four Grammy Awards, and he has worked with a stellar array of artist's including Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Chris Botti, Wayne Shorter, Vanessa Williams, Brian McKnight, Gino Vannelli, Terrence Trent D'Arby, Shawn Smith and Frank Zappa. An acknowledged expert in new media, Guy was a featured guest at IBS 2009, CMJ 2008, and moderated Digital Hollywood 2007. Guy has also been a guest lecturer at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music, at New York University, and the UCLA Music Business Program.
In 2011, Guy was elected to serve on the Board of Governors for The Recording Academy, NY Chapter.
