Didn't care for the Tubes. Thought Lee Michaels was great. Really liked his voice. Got two sets as well. LZ had their moments but were mostly off the whole show. Nothing like 68 and 71.
Check out some of they Eyes from 73 and 74. They get into a a nicely paced groove on most of them and are quite different from the later versions. The Stanford version is quite good but I can't remember the exact date. I also thought the disco version of Dancing in the Streets from...
@boblackey1 You're absolutely right. There was no ABB after Duane. There couldn't be. That creative spark and chemistry just wasn't there. By '73 they were missing two core ingredients that made the magic happen. No Jerry, no GD. No John, no Beatles. No Jim, no Doors. Same with these guys....
