Honestly this looks like a really nice knife, but I think I'll be getting an 0301 instead. The pocket clip is hideous and I hate how it is so wide. Plus im not much of a lowrider fan. Weight isn't an issue for me at all. I carried my smf and my seb on me yesterday. The smf weighs around 6 and the seb is 4.5 and honestly the difference is so negligible for me that I hardly even notice it.

@WeAllJuggleKnives Dude, the sebenza is everything they say it is and more. I have had my strider smf for a month. I've only had my sebenza for a week and it's my favorite knife. Then again that may be just because it's new lol. And it's more edcable, although I do use my strider alot

@VengeanceIV Amdrew Demko makes some customs of them with the triad lock, I've only seen the American lawman and a one off large espada. They're nice, but really expensive

To be honest, fnf on striders isn't that bad at all, I feel that's way over played. My blade is centered and goes back to centered every time I take it apart and put it back together. Your right, the 3.75 inch blade is a perfect size. Im torn between an xm-18 and an xm-24. My ideal size is somewhere between a sebenza and an smf, the xm-18 is a bit smaller than the sebenza and the xm-24 is slightly bigger than an smf.

Had a similar experience with a factory sharpened Emerson. Put too much graphite on the tang and the lockbar slid right off.

@pietermoore It's pretty much equivalent to d2 right? D2 is around 11.5% chromium so it's almost stainless. Just keep a thin coat of oil on it

Very nice work solo, the knife is now more functional, and better looking too, the lines just flow better with the choil instead of just having some awkawrd crevice in between the blade and the handle

@kwakp8man Boker has a production version of the 67 along with some others like the haddock now the albatros. Those have two large thumbstuds as opposed to an opening hole. This is jens ansos custom, he made these knives. The boker runs around $150 these are like $800+ if I'm correct

Nice edge on the xhp Millie. As for the framelock conversion, it the lockup solid as is or did you have to mod it? I've heard the gangs were cut differently on the ti Millie and the liner lock millies but I have heard of successful conversions before

I've had my smf in my pocket since the day I got it (feb 2, 2012). Just got a sebenza, but Im carrying both just to see which one I reach for more often. I feel like the seb may win out on that but hey, you never know. Good luck man

Either way, I wish kershaw would do more of these special edition ti framelocks, but maybe keep one as like a flagship knife, not a very limited preorder. Even if they just did one of their sandvick/cpm d2 blades with a ti framelock and kvt I'd be happy

IMO 1:1 handle to blade ratio isn't a huge deal to me. Some places you can't have a 4" blade, so if you need to kick it down to a 3" blade fine, but that doesn't mean the size of your hand changes. It may be a bit unsightly, but knives are tools, IMO function should always come first.
