Weight isn't an issue for me at all. I carried my smf and my seb on me yesterday. The smf weighs around 6 and the seb is 4.5 and honestly the difference is so negligible for me that I hardly even notice it.

Your right, the 3.75 inch blade is a perfect size. Im torn between an xm-18 and an xm-24. My ideal size is somewhere between a sebenza and an smf, the xm-18 is a bit smaller than the sebenza and the xm-24 is slightly bigger than an smf.

IMO 1:1 handle to blade ratio isn't a huge deal to me. Some places you can't have a 4" blade, so if you need to kick it down to a 3" blade fine, but that doesn't mean the size of your hand changes. It may be a bit unsightly, but knives are tools, IMO function should always come first.
If only you could still get these used for those prices haha. I see them going for around $800-$1000 which I think is crazy.
