About this user
I am recovering after having become permanently disabled following three traumatic brain injuries in the space of three years. I have been greatly helped by receiving COGNITIVE THERAPY from Community Rehabilitation Services of Oregon. The iPod Touch given to me was the most helpful in coping day to day with the new reality of who I am since my injury. This page contains VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE ITOUCH, which applications I have found most helpful and suggestions for specific uses related to brain function: ie; memory difficulties, short term memory problems, executive functioning, organization, attention/concentration, decision making/problem solving, keeping track of time, and not getting lost. MOST IMPORTANTLY I will also be including links to sites regarding the fight to obtain cognitive therapy for our returning soldiers, since TriCare is refusing this VITAL THERAPY!"
