@imilkdude I don't think that was ever definitively answered in the movie -- imitation vs contagion. At the beginning of the movie, there was plenty of time for the Thing to get the various victims alone, so really after the first 15 minutes, even if you go by an imitation as opposed to contagion...

I love how Randy hammered home in his evaluation of the other group what a cold-blooded decision it was for the first group to kick Jacee. It's group week, but you start getting a sense for the personalities that are coming though, and Brett appears to be a super-nice guy.

This is the sort of scene that many adults just don't think children can understand.

Kids understand more than the adults give them credit for. This was a powerful scene for young and old alike.

40 people in a studio that employs 1000. That's about 4%, within the margin of error for estimates of how many gay people there are in a random population. (May even be on the low side). Not all the gay people at the studio took part in the video though...

@true505 JoBeth Williams is the unsung hero. Everyone loves Heather O'Rourke and how iconic she became in this movie, but JoBeth really anchors this film. I can't think of how her performance could have been any better.
