A thoroughly exciting performance, full of passion, no sections just played but all performed with full commitment. What a glorious composition this is, one of Chopin's peerless inventions brought vividly to life by this wonderful pianist.

A weird thing as I listen. The universe and us are made up of largely space or 'nothing'. And it's the understanding of the spaces between the musical phrases that this performer grasps, that make it such an interesting and attractive performance.

It's not often you see a true master of anything, even among the best pianists. Oscar Peterson seems to exemplify every dimension of mastery and then some.
