For those who think atheism is faith:
If the kid next door believes that he has an invisible friend who can make his wishes come true, that may very well define who HE is.
Should he try to convince me that his beliefs are real, the burden of proof is on him. My working hypothesis will be that he made the whole thing up.
But - and this is the point I'm trying to make - denying his imaginary friends existence does not define who I am.

The rapture happened, and God came down to earth to claim his own.
First He spoke to the righteous christians, saying to each "You have been righteous, would you enter the Kingdom of Christ?" and they all said "Yes Lord" and were instantly gone.
Next He spoke to the righteous muslims, saying to each "You have been righteous, would you enter Jannat, where 72 virgins await?" and they all said "Yes, inshallah" and were instantly gone.
God then spoke to the atheists, saying "OK they're gone, let's re-build this world the way it ought to be!
Suggestions, anyone ?"

It's been said that sea squirts - after their wild and crazy larval stage - settle down and become filter feeders.
Since all they need to do after that point is filter water, they no longer need their brain. So they consume it.
I can't help but wonder if that's how creationism works.

I'm amazed at the variety of people who invite me to be their friend - pot heads, creationists and little girls with cute profile backgrounds.
I can't help but wonder what they think we have in common.
I should add that there's a well known Christian among my - very few - subscribers. I assume that this is because I've taken a ( rather weak, I'll admit ) stand against trolls.
