Ian Madrigal is a Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Painting at Philippine Women's University Institute of Fine Arts and Designs. A Core Member of Sapi Art Collectives which is Active in Voluntary Art Projects such as Art Workshops and and Mural Paintings for the Benefit of street children and ABS-CBN Bantay Bata Foundation. A Core Member of Tupada Action and Media Art: International Performance and New Media Art Event which is active in International Artist Mission Exchange and International Performance Art Events. He is a Multimedia Art Practitioner and Practices; Performance Art, Painting, Video Installations, Photography and other forms of Art. He won Semi Finalist at Asia Europe Foundation's New Millennium in my Dreams International Painting Competition dated May 2000. He Participated in various group Painting Exhibitions, Performances, New Media and Installations in the Galleries and local Art Spaces in the Philippines such as Gallerie Astra, Penguin Cafe, Donada Art Gallery, Twisted Sun Art Gallery, The Baguio Art Congress an The University of the Philippines: Arts and Literature Week. He was proprietor and creative director Mardigrass Creatives a Freelance Advertising Agency Specializes on Print Media and Audio Visual Presentation in the Philippines.

My Personal Experiences is the Catalyst of my Art. I usually render my works in non representational paintings, Installation and in used of New Media. I execute my work mystically rather than rationally, because for me rational judgments just repeats itself and irrational judgments leads into new experiences. I've chosen Art as a way of life rather than proffession nor vocation. And my execution is trough healing process in art making. Because for me Art making process makes a man to be a fine human being. And I believe that the two most important wisdom that exist is The Love of Art and The Art of Love.
