The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre On The Road
The world's favourite all-sock comedy double act are coming to town with a new hour of song, sketches, socks and violence!
They've starred in BBC3's Comedy Shuffle, GMTV, MTV and YouTube, and even appeared on The Culture Show - for four whole seconds! Now they're bringing the best of their last three sellout Edinburgh shows (for which they were nominated BEST SHOW at the Leicester Comedy Awards 2009) plus heaps of brand new stuff, to a venue very near you. Includes every single genre of film, TV and stage show, somehow.
"For sheer energy and laughs per hour, these comic stockings are the biz denier miss it." - **** The Scotsman "A show that will rock your socks off - if only all laundry could be this fun." - ****Three Weeks 09 "How on earth does The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre turn out to be so bloody good?" ****Chortle

**Amended 05.08.07*
It's early 1987 and the 26-episode cartoon Ulysses 31 is being repeated on Children's BBC on Thursday afternoons. In this clip, Broom Cupboard presenter Phillip Schofield, ably assisted by Gordon the Gopher, "sing" the theme song, in vision. This preceded the singing of Mysterious Cities of Gold and is a very funny clip!
More Children's BBC Presentation history and nostalgia on my Broom Cupboard website at www.the-broom-cupboard.co.uk.
