Those tubes are known as "kool-tubes", or air-cooled tubes.

These guys got their start right here in Vancouver..recorded at Mushroom Records on False Creek. They were even labeled as "Canadian Content" at one point, which gave them more airplay, which in turn led to more success. They even played my uncle's graduation as a Led Zep cover band.

Very cool! How about just soldering the bus wires directly to the pads at the ends there.. bypass connecting the tabs if that just connects to the pads anyways, and just bridge the 4 pads of the 2 cells. ;)

Good job man. I'm making one with Cree XP=E's, and proper finned sinks from heatsink usa. Curious why you needed blues though.. Cree CoolWhites start with a blue diode, so it peaks at 450nm already. And WarmWhites peak at 610nm, with a 50% peak of 660nm.. and about 10% 735nm InfraRed as well.

Making an led panel, which is powered off a modified pc 350w psu, and needed a 12v timer. Didn't realize they were so cheap. Wound up converting a digital thermostat to run off the 3.3v line of the psu, replacing the batteries, and set the temp higher (or lower) than it will ever get.. constant 1...

And LED creates waay more thc!

@tchydro Not to mention it'll water it down.. I cut while the stem while under water, so as no air bubble. And if doing so, putting in the gel's bottle would water it down. I prefer the powder though.. "stim root". And I also prefer cubes or peat-pellets.. though I admit I've never tried aero-clo...
