Martin Bisi, an influential NY musician and record producer since the 80s, is best known for recording classic albums by Sonic Youth, The Dresden Dolls, Swans, Boredoms, Herbie Hancock (Rockit), Africa Bambaata, John Zorn, Bill Laswell, White Zombie, Cop Shoot Cop, Foetus, Helmet, Serena Maneesh, Michael Gira's Angels Of Light and others. In his own band, Martin Bisi [band], he plays guitar and sings. His new album veers between moody, psychedelic, poppy and harder rock.
