I started playing guitar when I was about 15 years old.....Joe Satriani tought me and I keep in good contact with him to this day....Some of you might want to know what my life is like outside of Metallica...So here ya go..I love collecting horror film memorabilia and many of my custom guitars have horror film art on them...The band that I was in before I joined Metallica was a trash band called: "Exodus"....My guitar infuences were Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix...
