how do you replace a headphone jack on a 2nd Gen Nano?

Will any ipod video jack work? I have a ipod video 30 gig and only one side of my head phones will work at a time (tried different headphone). Will any ipod video jack work?

hey love the vids. I have an 80Gb i-pod video. I tried to turn it on and nothing like it was dead no battery power. When I plugged it into my laptop I got a corrupted apple logo and it keeps restarting and clicking bout every second or 2. none of the restarting or putting it in disk mode work know of anything I Can do Thanks

My ipod 5.5g won't start up and when i connect it to the computer it dosen't run,

Hi, my brother has a 2nd generation ipod nano that doesn't want to work as soon as his music is uploaded to it. I have reset it, and it freezes on the apple pic, and the backlight doesn't turn on. Then I restore it, and it goes back to its normal settings. But once I try uploading music back onto it, it stops uploading, and freezes in the "Ok to remove" check screen. I push down the middle button and play button, and it goes back to the regular menu. But as soon as I try uploading music again, it freezes with that apple in the middle of the screen! PLEASE HELP!

can you please do a repair guide for replacing the jack for a 2nd generation ipod please..thanks

hi my ipod nano 2nd gen has been having sound issues. i just got it from my friend and it worked for him but when i tried taking all of his music off and put my music on my music sounded all chopy as in like ststic and the vocals were barely auadible plzzzzzzzzzz help me A.S.A.P. thank you

I was wondering if you could help me out.
i have a pink ipod (2nd generation) and lately for the past couple months its been acting up.
when i want to turn my ipod on, the screen goes white with black static lines. Ive tryed holding down the middle button and the menu button, but the apple sign wont appear.
my friends say that it may have some dirt inside and the screen isnt responding.
then told me that i should take the top part and open it, but im afraid to.Only because i dont want to damage it.
Unfortunately i dont have a warranty on it and i dont really have alot of money at the moment.
is there a way you can possibly help me out
