About Me:
I made this YouTube channel for my friends in Japan. We used to teach each other dances when I was there, it was a great way for us to bond without a common language. Now we stay in touch through videos.
Since I was 12 years old, I've spent my time studying the Japanese culture and language. I can say that I'm genuinely passionate about Japan, though it's not my only interest.
In July 2011, I went to Japan, not as a tourist, but by living with a Japanese family. I had the chance to see how the country and people actually function as a nation, outside of the pop culture that most people think Japan is about. When I was there, I truly fell in love with their country, and I hope to return again very soon. Now that I'm back at home, it feels like something is missing. In the future, I hope to eventually teach English there.
