Virtual Jukebox
About Me:

Hello and welcome to my virtual Jukebox! I hope you enjoy the tracks I have uploaded. Here's a bit about me, I started as a D J from the early 70's doing mainly mobile work but also some club work here and there. I love Soul, Northern soul, Disco, and good Pop, anything in fact that is good to listen to and makes you feel good inside. I've never stopped loving music, when you've had a bad day or your feeling down just put on your favourite track and your somewhere else. Music is food for the soul. I still really like the feel of the vinyl record in your hand and all that goes into playing them, much more of a soul than today's C D's which seem rather sterile in comparison and even worse Mp3's as you don't have anything physical to hold only the player it's self, still that's the way the world has gone, I suppose they do have some benefits like the iPod where you can carry thousands of tracks round with you, but for me you will never beat vinyl when it comes to bringing music to life. I sometimes wish we could go back to the old day's of the cool soul artists and all the great music they gave us, in fact when there was so much good music around that some sadly never made it into being a hit record, and not because of their merit but just because of the sheer volume of releases each week, but over the years some now have happily been rediscovered by avid collectors and soul fans for us all to enjoy some of the lost gems of the past, so if anybody out their has a time machine please drop me a line, but until that happens we have Youtube to relive the memories and discover some second time around great music.
I don't time to get on here very often at the moment but I do get all the video's you send me and read all your comments on my videos, thank you. Happy listening, thanks all for tuning in, Guy
