What is the purpose of life ?...

Science has brought us to the moon . Relligion brings us on our knees.
Yesterday i was watching the movie bruce almighty with some friends.
After watching the movie for like a few minuts i ask my self a question :
If i had the powers of a god like jim carrey had in the movie. what would the world look like ? If i were omniscient and omnipotent, there would be no war,s, no diseases, no honger, no child molestation, ect. why doesn,t god fix the world ? There can only be three reasons . A: he doesn't know. but that makes him not omniscient.
B: he does know but can't do anything about it. that would make him not omnipotent.
or C: he does know and can do something about it but he won't. Any human would fix the world . are humans more "good" then god ? Or is a good and healty world not part of gods divine plan ? Perhaps it is far more logic that there is no god and we are the one,s that can and need to fix the world as much as we can.
Being a thiest is like standing in the bigist libery there is , and only reading 1 book.
Atheist and theist life just as long. They are exactly equally smart. Get the same grades. Have the same diseases.
Heal in the same way in the same amount of time. Have the same amount of luck and bad luck.
Is the only difference a impossible afterlife? and do we have to live in fear and get on our knees to have a chance of it ?

Congratulations on taking steps to de-conversion. It can be scary and lonely. However it can also be the most liberating and amazing thing to ever happen. The world and this life will be so much more clear. With less fear, guilt and lies in it. Be well.
