My already great respect for Mr. Wichniakov is increased ... such intensity of expression, such lovely warmth in his upper range (and such effortless lower notes, of course)! So beautiful! This is now my favorite recording of this piece ... I will listen to this again!

@MrWillsgirl4 He does write most of the music... as the years have passed, Patrick Hollis is writing more, asare some of the other members. But, on Tell the Angels, Mr. Williams wrote the majority of the songs.

@PaladinConstantin I know my share of devout Christian people who are taken aback by people's admiration of their unique talents -- occasionally it shows on their faces when they are expected to "do something." That is all I meant. As for the rest, not everyone who speaks English is a devotee...

A friend of mine told me about this, and the first thing I noticed about it is that Jimi Hendrix actually brought the the sounds of war into this piece (brilliantly so, with extra points for slipping "Taps" in). Come to find out he served honorably for his country -- he did know about bombs burs...

The more I hear this song, the more I love it . . . it helps me keep my perspective right. There is no fault in God -- whatever He does is good and right, no matter how it might seem to the world or me. The thing is to learn to trust in that fact . . . and doing so increases the joy in my life....
