The Who - Oklahoma City 08/24/1968 (Early Show)
Wedgewood Park, Oklahoma City, August 24, 1968 (Early show) - The first of two shows at the Wedgewood Park on this particular date. This is the 3:15 show and the 8:15 one does not have a known recording. The set is quite short if this is the complete (or almost complete, as My Generation was most likely played after Shakin' All Over) setlist. The sound quality is very good for the time.

The Who - Paris 03/02/1976
Pavillion, Paris, March 2, 1976 - The second of two nights in Paris '76 and the final concert of the Euro mini-tour before the first leg of the US tour (starting with the ill-fated aborted Boston show). The rare Slip Kid is still featured in the setlist. The quality is mostly good but the original recording was quite cut up so the spaces are filled with average to below average sounding recordings.

The Who - London 12/28/1979
Hammersmith Odeon, London, December 28, 1979 - At the end of their 1979 US Tour, The Who returned to London for this show as part of the Concerts For the People of Kampuchea. This is a really great concert, one of the best of the year, featuring extended versions of quite a lot of the songs. 5:15 includes a very rare tease of Mystery Train and a bit I Am The Sea is played as part of the intro to Pinball Wizard. The My Generation jam is very long and includes rarities such as the I'm A Man/Hoochie Coochie Man medley (done for the last time here) and the obscure blues song I Don't Want To Be An Old Man. Pete is in an especially chatty mood this song, and even gives a "sermon" in the year's longest performance of Dance It Away! The video quality is a great pro-shot although I think some parts got messed up when I uploaded them, so it'd be best to just download it.

The Who - Memphis 06/21/1970
Ellis Memorial Auditorium, Memphis, June 21, 1970 - One of the middle-of-the-year concerts by the band in 1970. This one captures them in peak form musically, but the recording is just average (although quite good for the year). Of note, the My Generation jam is very interesting, with a lot of unique improvisations and themes. The recording is almost complete, with the only cuts being at the very beginning of H&H and end of I'm Free.

The Who - Manchester 03/01/1981
Apollo Theatre, Manchester, March 1, 1981 - One of the latter concerts in the brief 1981 tour and the first of two in Manchester. It was Roger's birthday that day, and Pete also smashed his guitar, the only time that happened in 1981. The sound quality is listenable but then there's always a loud buzzing noise in the background which can put you off.
