A true rider is someone who can believe in their own capabilities, someone who can find the best in very horse they come in contact with, a person who even in the bad times outshine with the good. These people are amazing. They believe ribbons are worthless, but the unbreakable power and love between horse and rider are priceless. They wouldn't trade anything for that feeling. They can find inspiration by simply looking at their horse. These people are true equestrians.

Charles taught me so much in the little time that I rode him. My first time on him I was riding with my friend Danielle and we switched horses for a little bit and then I started leasing him in September and I continued to lease him till June. In June I stopped riding due my bad grades in school and I haven't ridden him since. I kept working at my barn so I still got to see him, but I left that barn in September and I haven't seen him since. But Charlie taught me a lot. We had practically the same personality, and I've never ridden a horse that I felt so connected to. I miss him everyday and I wish that I could just back in time to the last time that I rode him and just live in that moment forever.
