About Me:

"I dont want to survive in the woods.. I want to live." Quote by Cody Lundin. My theory on survival is this.. if learn how to do stuff in the woods with limited to no gear, and you learn more primitive stuff, then, when you acually use your gear, it makes survival 100% easier. i know a hole lot about survival, somestuff you can make or test, and some stuff that it crucial to know. when i say "stuff you can test" i mean like--make a shelter, bowdrill fire, boiling water, traps.. all thats stuff is great to practice but you need to know alot of stuff about the climate your in... if its winter, you need to know that if you start sweating you need to layerdown so your sweat will dry because if your wet at night, you will be freezing...you could test that, but it would be a very boring video... Another quick example is that, well, you know how to make a fire in the winter at your house or by your house, but when you go somewhere else you may not have the birch tree or the cedar tree, so its important to know what trees are good for tinder and tree identification.... i know alot more about survival than what my videos are about. there are so many important thing to know that you cant really test....another one, if you are lost in the woods, DONT PANIC or rush around it will make you more lost because when you slow down, you wont know which direction you came from. I started to learn about survival about 3-4 years ago. i feel like ive tested and practiced so much stuff that i want to go into the woods with a knife and maybe 1 or 2 other items and just see if i can last in the woods for 3 to 5 days. that way, in those days, i will find what i have not fully mastered yet. i want to eventually become a survival expert in woodland and snow environments, and know a decent amount of stuff about jungle survival. some people may not realize this to some extent, but if you really think about it, like i said at the top of this writing, "i dont want to survival. i want to live." what i mean is this... i know you can go only 3 days without water and 3 weeks with out food(and who would want to be surviving in the woods with not eating in 3 weeks), but finding water in woodland environments isnt that difficult, but im not saying to it easy, but trapping can be difficult sometimes. and if your in a longterm survival situation, you need to know how to make a good bow. because other than eating squirrel, rabbits, and wild edibles, it would be nice to get some bigger game (with a bow). --- When ever you go into the woods, make sure you have a durable knife, cord, and a aluminum or stainless steel waterbottle. Because you will never know if your going to end up lost or in a survival situation.
