Hi thanks for your comment on the Bark in the Park video. I just watched your isopod video. Amazing little creatures, but i still find it hard to call them "cute". ::)))
Take care!!!

Hi nancyfoundtime! Yep, grays are like folks with ADHD. They have Very active and extremely intelligent brains! Sometimes stuff around them is overstimulating and other times they don't have enough. FuzzyButt got a big play-gym setup for the Holidays so he can be down here almost all day with us (we're on the quiet side) and he has big safe bells and learning toys attached to it now and a kind of foraging situation. I've also found that the gentle spraying really helps a lot and I use soft little conversation when I'm doing that so he won't be afraid. He's also noted when it's bedtime pretty accurately at night which amazes me. He starts making whistles when it's time and then he gets all wrapped up in his blanket back upstairs HA! He now has a bunch of his own chew-books too that he took from our bookshelf and turned to confetti so we just decided to let him have these as his own library! Happy New Year (oh, and I'm throwing up a bunch of that 'confetti'!)

hello-Hope your Holidays were great. i just wanted to tell you, our grey started that "discontent" squaking again. we chose one human in charge of the spray, "gentle spray out" and point and spray, say nothing. also a "box" like a cave. the bird goes in there and chews, talks and stays busy. the dark box acts like a "calming time for him. there minds get in a "stickler" and they seem to stay in that mode hugh? and we don't know why the box and spray down works, but it just does. also on his mobile perch, cardboard to chew. he's actually "acting" alot better. about 99%! they are cute birds hugh? well bigHuGS, from us
