Phil's songs always connected with me. They seemed to be there when I needed that touch of inspiration or push to get back on my feet. I think that is what music is all about, to be there to lift our spirits and help get us through tough times.

I remember I won this album on the radio... It was the first album I ever owned! I played it until the needle on my record player wore down to a nub and the record was so worn that it wouldn't play any longer! LOL Those were the days... Thank God we made it through!
