No it's a tenor voice using baritone technique.
His passaggio is much higher then a baritone. Evident on the string of G's at 2:35.
Very few tenors use this technique, Giuseppe Giacomini uses this technique.
If you think Kaufmann sounds like a baritone, Giacomini will blow you away too.
